24 hours on a ferry and Frank is still making me work!

To everyone else in the working world, a holiday means a holiday: a day on which one is exempt from work; specifically : a day marked by a general suspension of work in commemoration of an event

However, as I sit in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean nothing can be further from the above definition! I'm bashing out stories left, right and centre as me, Frank and the dog make our way to Portugal on a ferry and then by road.

In total the journey should take 37 hours roughly...I know we must be mad!

It took all of ten minutes for us to cause absolute chaos and havoc after boarding the ferry at Portsmouth. Frank wandered into our cabin to find that he couldn't even get inside without slouching (bare in mind he is only 5 foot 3) and was less than amused.

After searching, I found him explaining the situation to a very polite French lady who insisted on calling him Monsieur Malone. She told him that if a free cabin became available then we would be the first to be moved. Rather than rest on his laurels, Frank managed to badger the lady into submission with a relentless assault on her good nature. Now we are in a four person cabin with enough room to stand up straight!

The dog is on the top deck sunning himself in a luxury kennel whilst I'm typing away getting all this online...it's a dog's life!

On a serious note check out the two new amateurs who have signed with Frank over the last few days. Glen Foot from Sunderland has signed a deal whilst Joe Hughes has also turned pro with FTM. Both come with big reputations so I can't wait for the new season to see how they shape up in the ring.

For now I'm off to have a well earned drink whilst Frank catches Sherlock Holmes in the onboard cinema.

See you in Portugal!
