BOTH champion and challenger successfully make the Bantamweight limit ahead of British title fight.

Stuey Hall and Martin Power successfully weighed in at the first attempt ahead of their British bantamweight title at the Rainton Meadows Arena tomorrow night (Friday).

Martin Power was the first to the scales and was looking bronzed following a 6 day day training camp in Finland. The former holder of the Lonsdale belt weighed in at 8 stone 5.5 lbs and is one win away from owning the belt outright.

Hall stunned fans to lift the title after Ian Napa quit on his stool in Peterlee a little over a month ago and will make his first defence against a man he has already beten. Last time out there was a slight difference in weight but there will be no repeat this time around as the Darlington puncher weighed in at 8 stone 4 lbs.

Tony Jeffries weighed in as a light heavyweight for his fight against English-based pole Michael Banbula, 'the Mighty Mackem' weighed in at 12 stone 6lbs where as his opponent topped the scales at 12 stone 7.5 lbs.
